Mara Gladstone

Mara Gladstone is Associate Curator at Palm Springs Art Museum, and has organized exhibitions in a range of media and subjects, with particular emphasis on those that cross disciplines and time periods. She is organizing the Palm Springs presentation of Andy Warhol: Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, opening March 3. Recent exhibitions include Pat Lasch: Journeys of the Heart, and an installation of Rob Pruitt’s Flea Market. Mara received her PhD and MA in Visual and Cultural Studies at the University of Rochester, and BA from Brown. Previously, Mara worked at the J. Paul Getty Museum and Museum of Modern Art, and has taught university courses and produced independent films. Affiliations include the Palm Springs Public Art Commission, Association of American Museum Curators, and College Art Association. She is also trained as an oil painter.
